Immigration

  • Immigration to Malta - Malta’s immigration law provides several options for employers of foreign nationals. Malta is a member of the European Union (EU) and the Schengen Area. Our global mobility lawyers advise on the requirements, processing times, employment eligibility, and benefits for accompanying family members according to the applicable visa classifications.
  • Business visits to Malta - business travellers typically use a local version of the Schengen C Visa unless they are visa exempt based on their nationality. The Schengen Area allows stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
  • Work permits - we assist employers obtain Single Permits for foreign nationals traveling to Malta for work. Single Permits can be issued for one year and are renewable.​​  We also advise on VISA requirements and assist with getting an e-Residence card for employees and family members.
