Revised MIIP - Malta Citizenship by Investment Programme

By means of a notice in the Malta Government Gazette of Tuesday 5th September 2017, the Government Agency, Identity Malta has announced that the investments can now be also made in debt or equity securities listed on the official list of the Malta Stock Exchange. Investment in these securities may also be achieved through an investment in collective investment schemes that are licensed and are on the Official List of the Malta Stock Exchange.

The investment must be retained for a minimum period of five years from the date of issue of the Letter of Approval in Principle.

Our Citizenship Services

Applications for Maltese Citizenship by Investment are to be made to and processed wholly by Identity Malta.  Applicants must be represented by an Accredited Person that is a licensed Maltese Authorised Registered Mandatory (ARM).  Dr Jean-Philippe Chetcuti (Chetcuti Cauchi Advisors Ltd) and Mr Kenneth Camilleri  have satisfied the additional requirements imposed by the IIP Regulations over and above the requirements for ARMs under other legislation. The programme imposes more responsibilities on ARMs to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the application process, for the protection and benefit of applicants and the reputation of the Maltese citizenship by investment programme.
