CC VFA Agent Ltd received its licence in terms of the Virtual Financial Assets Act which came into force in November 2018 establishing a framework for conducting and approving ICOs, preparing white papers and regulating the activities of service providers, including exchanges and trading platforms.

The appointment of a VFA agent is a necessary requirement for approval of ICO white papers by the Malta Financial Services Authority and the attainment of a licence for service providers. The issuance of the licence is an official affirmation and recognition of the firm’s work in this sector since the blockchain and crypto law came into force in Malta.
