Fast 50 has once again listed the Malta Lotteries & Gaming Authority among the best 50 organisations in gaming. The LGA has placed at the top of all online gaming regulators for 2012, in terms of innovation, governance, diligence and international growth. Listed in the Fast50 Organisations Worldwide list for the second year running, Malta’s gaming regulator is the sole regulatory authority awarded with the Fast50 award this year.
In the words of the Fast50 team themselves, the list of organizations awarded “highlights companies for quality and excellence, and shines a spotlight on those who have both achieved certain levels of excellence, and demonstrated strong leadership”. New Europe magazine, the publisher of this list, is committed to “analyzing new trends and unearthing the biggest pioneers across all sectors”.
Deemed as having a chief role in the success story of the Malta gaming license, this award reflects the dynamic and flexible, yet responsible approach that Malta’s gaming regulator has adopted since its inception in 2001. This is reflected in the increasing number of gaming companies that are setting up shop in Malta availing themselves of the practical and efficient licensing process that allows operators to launch their project from an early stage. Simultaneously, Malta’s gaming authority has maintained a crime-free i-gaming environment, donning on the Malta license a reputation of trustworthiness and reliability, while simultaneously equipping licensees with an indispensable marketing tool.
Voted from over 4,000 shortlisted organisations, alongside Malta’s gaming regulator, other organisations that have been included in the top 50 of the Fast50 Award for 2012 include BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Saxo Bank, Barclay’s Capital, Autonomy, and Laterooms.com.
