In February 2014 Chetcuti Cauchi senior staff members participated in the Malta Vodafone Marathon 2014 to raise funds for the firm’s charity Claris Foundation. Participating staff members were partner Kenneth Camilleri, assistant accounting manager Gaie Terry and personal assistant Roberta Gauci.
Claris Foundation is a charitable initiative created by Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates. It's aim is simple - to employ sophisticated legal and financial resources that lend clarity and transparency to capital invested in philanthropic work. Its objectives are to identify, understand and raise awareness on behalf of vulnerable children in Malta and abroad. We understand that the early years of a child's life are the most essential and therefore we focus on the development and implementation of special programmes in support of the health, well-being and education of children across the world.
"Running a marathon is an experience that is difficult to put into words." said Mr. Kenneth Camilleri, a principle partner at Chetcuti Cauchi. "The team devoted many hours throughout the year putting in the hard kilometers to train for this event. They also endured the physical and mental challenges of the 21 kilometer race on behalf of Claris Foundation and that kind of effort and dedication should be complimented. Running for a worthy cause inspired us to push ourselves to the limit and helped us find out what we're made of."
Mr. Camilleri who organised and trained the team finished the marathon in 1 hour and 37 minutes.
