A commercialisation programme has been launched by the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST). Its aim is to fund technology which has already been designed and developed thereby giving participants the opportunity to obtain specialist advice in order to attract capital investment.
The commercialisation project focuses on four areas:
- technologies that deal with the environment and energy resources
- information and communications technology
- technologies related to value-added manufacturing services
- health and biotechnology
Funding start from €25,000 and extends to €75,000 and is offer to members of the public and private sectors including NGOs.
