Dr Jean-Philippe Chetcuti, Senior Partner at Chetcuti Cauchi, attended the 2nd Annual International Tax Systems and Planning Techniques (ITSAPT) Conference held on 3rd November 2011 in London.
Roy Saunders, Philip Baker QC and the ITSAPT Professional Association, formed a global panel of international tax experts for an in-depth analysis of cross-border Corporate and Personal Migration. Furthermore, the panel discussed the complex issues relating to Corporate Migration and the social and tax issues relating to Personal Migration.
During the conference the panel also addressed the equally complex issue of Personal Migration including country specific matters relating to residence and domicile, beneficial tax regimes for “impatriates”, pre-immigration tax planning including the use of Trusts and Foundations, and beneficial structures used to acquire real estate for personal occupation in countries reviewed.
The conference was hosted by IFS at The Landmark Hotel in London.
