Dr Priscilla Mifsud-Parker, Senior Partner, has been re-elected Chair of the Malta branch of STEP, the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners. This will mark Priscilla’s third term at the helm of STEP in Malta following two successful years as Chair. Prior to this, Priscilla acted in the STEP Malta Branch Committee for several years in the role of Secretary and Chair of the Technical Committee.
At Chetcuti Cauchi, Priscilla heads the Trusts and Estates practices and acts as a director on the firm's licensed Malta corporate services provider firm CCA InterServ Ltd and the firm's authorised Malta trust company and fiduciary firm Claris Capital Ltd. A Maltese advocate and tax advisor, Priscilla has more than 15 years’ experience specialising in private client advisory and structuring work.
Chetcuti Cauchi's contribution to STEP
A leading tax, trust and estates law practices on the island, the firm has a longstanding relationship with STEP since 2004. Chetcuti Cauchi's private client lawyers have been contributing to the success of STEP Malta branch in numerous capacities. Dr Priscilla Mifsud Parker has occupied the positions of Secretary and Chair of the Technical Committee, before her recent terms as branch Chair. The firm's managing partner Dr Jean-Philippe Chetcuti has also served in the positions of Branch Secretary, Technical Chair, Branch Vice Chairman, and finally STEP Malta Branch Chair between 2013 and 2016.
