ODZ or Not? Understanding the Boundaries of Maltese Development

Following last year's talk, Partner Dr. Charlene Mifsud has been once again invited to this summit. In her talk, Dr. Charlene will help attendees understand the boundaries of ODZ (Outside Development Zone) areas, which are crucial for anyone involved in the design, construction or management of buildings in Malta. Building in ODZ areas is generally restricted or subject to specific planning guidelines, in order to protect the island's natural and cultural heritage and to ensure that new development is sustainable and in line with the island's long-term development goals.
