Property Malta is a public-private initiative between the Government of Malta and the Malta Developers Association. Property Malta is a public-private initiative set up with the intent of promoting Malta’s lifestyle and identity and to position the island as a leading destination of choice for investors interested in purchasing property in the Mediterranean.
The Foundation was set up in 2017 with the aim of bringing together main stakeholders such as property developers, estate agents, brokers, property owners and advisors as well as anyone interested in selling residential and commercial properties to foreign investors. Aimed at an international audience, Property Malta promotes the sale of local developments, apartments, luxury villas, palazzos and authentic houses of character or townhouses as well as residential and commercial properties. The main mandate is the drafting and implementation of a marketing plan for the promotion of Malta and Gozo overseas. The plan includes participation in international investment shows and events, as well as the promotional initiatives through PR and advertising.
Property Malta’s vision provides that the aim is:
“To assist in the creation of a lifestyle identity for Malta so as to position the country as a leading destination of choice for international people who are interested in purchasing a property in the Mediterranean”
