We provide legal and tax advice to individuals, families and businesses with complex, cross-border requirements. As an independent Maltese law firm, we collaborate routinely with client’s preferred counsel and, when needed, offer the ability to access specialist legal and tax advice through our international network of international tax and legal colleagues.
With effect from 31st July 2026, Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates is no longer a member of, or affiliated with, Andersen Global or the Andersen network.
Our firm continues to operate independently from Malta, advising private clients, families, entrepreneurs, investors and businesses on Maltese and cross-border legal matters.
There has been no change to our commitment to our clients, our professional responsibilities or the continuity of matters entrusted to the firm.
Continuing to serve our clients
Clients previously advised by Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates' subsidiary CC Consulting Ltd, previously Andersen in Malta, may continue to contact and instruct the same firm and, where applicable, the same lawyers and professional teams.
Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates and its affiliated companies continue to advise in all areas as before. A full list of areas of expertise is provided here: Our Expertise.
Existing client matters
Existing legal engagements with Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates continue to be handled by the firm in accordance with their applicable engagement terms, professional obligations and client instructions.
Clients do not need to take any action solely as a result of the firm’s departure from the Andersen network.
Where an engagement previously involved another Andersen member firm, an overseas adviser or a separate service provider, we will continue to carry out the engagement without interruption.
Cross-border advice
Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates remains able to coordinate legal and professional advice across multiple jurisdictions.
It has always been our firm's priority to select any overseas adviser according to the requirements of the matter, the relevant jurisdiction, professional competence, independence, conflicts considerations and the client’s best interest.
No overseas firm or adviser should be understood to be affiliated with Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates unless this is expressly stated.
