legal basis
In pursuance of the provisions of Regulation 6 (2) of the Aliens and Immigration Regulations, Cyprus grants Non-EU nationals the right to permanently reside in Cyprus with no renewal requirements. The process is based on a set eligibility criteria ensuring that the Permanent Residency status is only granted to reputable individuals.
ELIGIBILITY
- Eligible dependents include the spouse, parents of main applicant and spouse’s parents, as well as children up to the age of 24 years;
- Main applicant is in good standing;
- Secured annual income of €30,000 for the main applicant, increased by €5,000 for every dependent person (spouse and children) and by €8.000 for every dependent parent or parent-in-law
- Purchase of a residential or commercial property(ies) of a combined value of €300,000 exc VAT
- The applicant also has the option to invest €300,000 in units of of a Cyprus Collective Investment Organisation or in the share capital of a company registered and operating in Cyprus employing at least five (5) employees
- Visit once within the 1st year to register biometrics and then every 2 years thereafter.
