At Chetcuti Cauchi, we believe that nothing is more valuable than the Gift of Time. Throughout the year, each department of the firm has adopted a specific cause, raised funds for it, and during Christmas time, each department has dedicated time and energy and funds to help this cause.

Christmas is a time to care for the less fortunate. Once again, our Gift of Time initiative saw the firm nominating a number of charities to support and encourages fund raising activities organised by our Social Committee. 2021 was no exception but this year the firm has chosen a completely different strategy.

At Chetcuti Cauchi, we believe that nothing is more valuable than the Gift of Time.  Throughout the year, each department of the firm has adopted a specific cause, raised funds for it, and during Christmas time, each department has dedicated time and energy and funds to help this cause.

Chetcuti Cauchi partners and staff have donated effort, verve, and sparkle to initiatives such as the Soup Kitchen, Good Shepherd Home in Balzan, the Children of Hal Far and Hal Far Open Centre, Puttinu Cares Ward, Ursoline Sisters, Blood Donation Centre, Dar Merhba Bik, RMJ Horse Rescue and AAA Dog Sanctuary. Our professionals have contributed time cleaning, cooking, whitewashing and all sorts of chores and tasks to help the above voluntary organisations during this time. We have also purchased gifts and essential items for children in homes, hospitals, and care centres.

Founding partner Dr Maria Chetcuti Cauchi commented that:

“Sometimes it’s easy to merely donate funds and material objects during Christmas time, but this year, we decided to go the extra mile and give The Gift of Time to an array of valuable causes. This has not only helped such organisations, but has also instilled in us a social consciences that centres also around gifting our presence and our days.”
